Which I might add was paying a substantial amount of money. Nevertheless, the players are allowed to enter the facilities starting December 1. Along with free agency negotiation and the start of training camps scheduled for December 9. Therefore time is very important for all the loose ends to be tied up before anyone changes their minds.
